What to expect
You'll spend most of the morning or late afternoon on a quad bike, covering dusty dune terrain with a brief stop to admire the contrast between rust-coloured and pale sand formations. The pace is relaxed enough for group photo stops. Midway, you'll visit the fishing village—a genuine working space, not a tourist village—where you can see nets being mended and boats prepared. The Fairy Stream walk is gentle, involving a short amble through a narrow ravine with cool flowing water. Expect dust in your hair and on your clothes; the quad ride is bumpy but not technical. Refreshment breaks happen at scenic viewpoints.
Good to know
Quad bike rental costs extra (300,000 VND to ride pillion, 800,000 VND to ride solo for 20 minutes). Sandboarding is 50,000 VND per person. Bring cash, hat, sunglasses and high-SPF sunscreen. Not suitable if you have cardiovascular concerns. Strollers and prams can be brought for young children.
