What to expect

You'll meet at Sirumichu Beach where your guide runs through a safety briefing and teaches paddling basics on the water. The paddle to Hamahiga Island takes you through calm, transparent waters—roughly 30–40 minutes depending on conditions. Once ashore, you'll have time to swim, explore, and recover before paddling back. The pace is relaxed and the guide adjusts based on the group. Expect sun exposure, gentle paddling, and a genuine sense of reaching somewhere off the beaten path.

Good to know

Bring swimwear, a change of clothes, sun protection, and any snacks or drinks you'll need. Water shoes are provided. A public shower costs 300 yen. Public transport reaches the meeting point; private transfers aren't included. Not suitable if pregnant, recovering from spinal injury, or managing heart conditions. Moderate fitness required.
