What to expect
You'll begin with classroom work covering dive theory, safety protocols, and equipment handling. Subsequent days alternate between classroom review and water time. Expect two dives daily in the standard four-day option; each dive runs 30–40 minutes at increasing depths and complexity. Your instructor watches closely during confined-water training before moving to open water. Dives build progressively—early ones focus on fundamental skills, later ones on navigation and problem-solving. Between dives you'll debrief, adjust technique, and prepare mentally for the next descent.
Good to know
Moderate fitness essential; cardiovascular concerns should be discussed beforehand. Not suitable if pregnant. Public transport reaches the dive site easily. Bring a towel and shower shoes. Course pace is customisable if you prefer one dive daily over two.
