Earn your Open Water certification over three days on Thailand's coast, learning skills that hold currency worldwide. What to expect
Your first day covers theory and confined-water basics—breathing underwater, clearing your mask, buoyancy control. By day two you'll be doing shallow open water dives under close instructor supervision, applying what you've learned to real conditions. Day three takes you deeper with more challenging scenarios. Expect water entry from the beach, gradual depth increases, and regular surface intervals. You'll work one-on-one or in small groups with your instructor throughout.
Good to know
Bring sunscreen and a wetsuit if you prefer your own. The course excludes those with back injuries, pregnancy or cardiovascular conditions. Fitness level matters less than comfort in water; tell your instructor about any concerns beforehand.
