What to expect
You'll spend your first day in the pool or confined water, building comfort with the gear and mastering essential techniques. Days two and three move to open water, where you'll complete four dives alongside your guide whilst applying what you've learned. Expect classroom sessions covering dive theory, hands-on equipment practice, and gradual progression in depth. Between dives there's time to rest and absorb what you've done. The pace is relaxed but thorough—your guide will ensure you're genuinely ready before each new challenge.
Good to know
Don't fly or undertake strenuous activity within 18 hours before diving. Complete the health questionnaire honestly; certain conditions (asthma, heart issues, epilepsy, colds, congestion) may disqualify you—speak with your doctor beforehand. Avoid alcohol and drugs. Digital photos are available to purchase separately.
