What to expect

You'll start with a walk through the surrounding murals and street art landscape, getting a sense of the neighbourhood's creative culture. Back at the workshop site, your artist mentor covers spray-can mechanics and technique—how to hold the can, adjust cap pressure, keep edges sharp, and blend hues smoothly. Once you've grasped the basics, you'll sketch out a design with the artist, then transfer it to your designated wall space. Expect to spend the bulk of the session actually painting, building layers and refining your piece as the artist offers real-time guidance. By the end, you'll have a finished mural to photograph and a genuine understanding of graffiti as a craft.
