What to expect

You'll start geared up in a wetsuit and helmet, then head into the valley to begin moving through the streambed itself rather than along its banks. The activity feels more spontaneous than canyoning—you're reading the water and terrain as you go, choosing when to dive or let the current carry you. Moderate fitness required. Not suitable for pregnant travellers, those with spinal injuries, or poor cardiovascular health. Bring snacks and drinks—these aren't included.
