What to expect
You'll catch the ferry from Barrack Street early morning and arrive at Rottnest within 30 minutes. After registration and a safety briefing, you'll board a small aircraft and climb to jumping altitude. The freefall is intense but brief—your instructor controls the descent. The parachute ride is the opposite: slow, quiet, and spectacular. You'll land on the beach, debrief with your instructor, then have time to explore the island or grab lunch before catching the ferry back to Perth.
