What to expect

You'll begin with historical context explaining how ninja and samurai traditions evolved and persist today. Instructors will walk you through proper stance, grip, and release for shuriken and bokken (wooden sword), correcting form as you practise. Expect genuine instruction rather than entertainment—the dojo maintains discipline, and participants who lose focus may be asked to leave. The 90 minutes moves briskly, balancing explanation with hands-on repetition.

Good to know

Wear comfortable clothes under your rental dogi. Not suitable if you have spinal injuries or are pregnant. Children under 12 must have a participating adult present. Spectators can watch for 4,400 JPY per person, payable on arrival. Food and drinks are not included. Book flexible dates in case your first choice is full.
