What to expect
Arrive at a Hanoi café and settle into an intimate group setting. Your barista host will walk you through Vietnam's coffee story and why Robusta beans dominate production here. Then you'll get your hands dirty: grinding, measuring, and brewing using the slow-drip phin, watching the dark liquid pool below. You'll create the silky egg coffee by whisking yolks with condensed milk, then pour hot coffee over it. Between each of the six styles, you'll taste what you've made and learn the differences—salt, coconut, iced variations, traditional black. It's practical, not preachy.
