What to expect
You'll arrive at the private studio and be fitted into layered samurai armour—a surprisingly heavy but manageable experience. Staff will show you how to stand and move like a warrior, using swords and spears as props. A photographer directs you through several sequences, then composites your images into four polished prints styled like film posters. If you're bringing a partner, they can wear an ornate kimono or also suit up. By the end of your session, your photos will be printed on canvas or a mug, ready to carry home.
Good to know
Not suitable for pregnant travellers or those with spinal injuries. Children aged five and up are welcome; very young ones can stay in a pram. The studio is near public transport. Expect the armour to be weighty but not restrictive—all fitness levels manage it well.
