What to expect

This isn't a casual stroll. You'll navigate rocky gullies with uneven footing and carry a pack up to 13 kg as you climb towards the range in mid-afternoon heat—temperatures can exceed 30°C depending on season. The terrain demands careful footwork and steady legs. Your first night's camp rewards the effort with direct views across the reef. Day two reverses the route at an easier pace, landing you back in Exmouth by early afternoon. Meals are simple but solid; water and tea kept hot throughout.
