What to expect

Expect a moderately technical climb that demands focus and steady movement rather than brute strength. You'll clip into cables, pull yourself up iron rungs bolted into near-vertical stone, and traverse narrow ledges with drops beside you. The guide sets pace and manages rope systems. Sections open out into cavernous alcoves where you can pause and absorb the scale of the gorge. Weather and rock conditions shape the experience—cool, damp shadows dominate, and footing can be slick. Good to know

Minimum height requirement 140cm. Not suitable if you have spine conditions, are pregnant, or have cardiovascular concerns. Fear of heights is a genuine barrier—this is exposed climbing. Bring water; snacks aren't provided. Wear sturdy trainers or climbing shoes with good grip.
